Top Note Hanging Gift Card Holder

I made this hanging gift card holder for a one-on-one challenge...although I left off the jumbo eyelets on the one I'll mail since they're no longer available.  Dang it - I just realized the jingle bells aren't available anymore either.  Who doesn't have a ton of those left over from last year though, right?  :)

So that little half sheet of Gumball Green is actually a pocket that you would slip the gift card into.

You could just use cardstock for the base, but I actually covered that white chipboard stuff that comes in the designer series paper packs - one side with designer paper, and the back side with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  Just stuck it on with a glue stick.  Then run the whole thing through the Big Shot with the Top Note die.  It's nice and sturdy.  You could also use chipboard or coasters if you had some big enough.

To make the pocket, I just cut a Top Note out of Gumball Green cardstock, cut it in half, and used Sticky Strip along the sides and bottom to hold it firmly in place.

Stamps:  Joyous Celebrations

Cardstock:  Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Whisper White, Snow Festival designer series papers

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green

Other:  Big Shot, Top Note die, Wide Oval punch, Gumball Green yarn, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine,  Pewter Jumbo Eyelets (retired), Jingle bells (retired),
