Mini Scrapbook - out of one sheet of 12x12!

I REALLY should be cleaning, or doing laundry, or taking a nap...but I couldn't stand not being able to figure this book out.  Thanks to my good friend, Lisa S, for pointing me to the directions for making this little gem...you can find the instructions and pictures here - http://scrapbooking.about.com/od/3dembellishments/ss/onesheetminibook.htm

Great pictures that step you right through making the book.  I found that it IS bulky, making it with cardstock.  This was my first attempt, and I found that I couldn't really add a lot of embellishments inside.  I will definitely try another one, and use designer series papers for the base of the book instead.  That should cut down on the bulk.

I printed these pictures out on my printer, which is obviously running out of ink.  Hopefully you can still get the idea, and see how cute my friend's daughter is.  :)  These pics are from Sarah's first birthday - her first time eating cake.  Adorable!

I'm not going to list supplies, because they are retired SU papers - I don't even remember the name of this pattern.  The cupcake stamp came from Michaels', by TPC Studio.

I did use quite a bit of sticky strip, just to make sure all the right pages stuck together.  *** I would also suggest putting the belly band on AFTER you've got your pictures and all your doo-dads in the book.  Like I said, it is quite bulky.   Even adding pictures adds more bulk.

Thanks for looking!  More pics below...
