Guest Book

It's been a sad couple of months here, and my mother-in-law passed away. I wanted something special for the viewings, so I made this guest registry book. It was a kit, but I didn't use the designer papers in it. I found some of this nice Bamboo-ish paper at Recollections (soon to be closed), along with some rub-on letters. The covers are covered chipboard, and then there are Guest pages with lines inside. I think it was supposed to be for a wedding or something...but it works. I used my Bind-it-All and put it all together. Added some ribbon and flowers (from Stampin' Up's Pretties Kit) and called it done! I know she would have loved it. She always said that I "have gold hands".

Cookie Sheet magnet/note holder

I used a cookie sheet as the base for this note/memo pin up thing. I need to punch holes in the top with my Crop-o-dile, and then thread some black grosgrain through it. This is a gift for my sister. The clear gems have magnets on the back. She can hang this outside of her office, and attach notes, where there is no push pin board...

Fabulous Flowers notebook

As some of you may know already - decorating notebooks is my all time FAVORITE thing to make. I'm a list maker, so I'm constantly going through notebooks and pads. And since I'm a stamper - I can't have a naked notebook!

Desktop Calendars

Thanks to my friend, Lisa Somerville, for the idea for these calendars! I found out while making them that printing the calendars out myself, and cutting, and assembling them was a major pain in the butt. Centerpiece box

I was using up retired papers, and made this centerpiece box. It only takes 1 sheet of 12x12 cardstock, and 2 pieces of patterned 12x12 paper. Lots of folding and adhering papers later, and you have this!

Two Year Planner, personalized

I went to an all day crop today -had a blast - but didn't really do any scrapbooking. Instead, I was making projects all day. I really enjoy making gifts and things to give to people.

Bareback Birthday

Today is our friend Tom's birthday, so I whipped this up pretty quickly. Direct to paper for the Really Rust card base. I just wipe/smear it all over.

Snowflake candles

My mom came over tonight, and I helped her decorate these candles for her church group. All we did was stamp a piece to cover the label, put them in a bag, and tie it shut. Attached the snowflake piece with Sticky Strip.

Christmas Candles!

Made these candles for some friends. Just wrap cardstock, and then some designer papers around the candles. Secure each with Sticky Strip. Tie a tag around! EASY PEASY!

Holiday treat box

Are these cute or what??? I used the tutorial found HERE on splitcoaststampers, to make them. Very easy, and only used 1 piece of 12x12 cardstock, and 2 pieces of Designer series paper! No stamping on these...but you could certainly add a tag.

Bloggers Challenge - Watercoloring

This week's challenge was to use any watercoloring technique. I ended up using the Aqua Painter and ink pads to water color this image of Frosty. I chose my colors - Basic Black and Groovy Guava directly from this notepad itself. The inside covers are Guava-like, so I went with it. Not your typical snowman colors...but cute enough, I suppose!

Bloggers Challenge - Different Point of View

I'm thrilled with the idea of this week's challenge! We were to take one stamp set and come up with two different ways to use it. I chose to use two stamp sets - the main images and a greeting set, and create two different cards. I kept the layout the same, but changed the colors and greeting. I love the versatility!!!

Rehearsal Dinner page
