Friends of Unity Blog Hop November 2026 - Bookmarks and Tags!

Welcome to the Friends of Unity Blog Hop for November 2026!  Our theme this month is Bookmarks & Tags.  I decided to combine BOTH cues into my project.  It's small, but functional and SASSY!

It's an altered paper clip, functioning as a bookmark.  Then I added a tiny tag to it with a mini bulb pin and a piece of the Sugar & Sass Ephemera pack.  Pink coupon ticket seemed to fit perfectly.  

Paper Measurements:

• My Kinda Extra (words print):  3" x 6", folded in half inside out, so words on are the inside
• My Kinda Extra (quilt print):  3" x 6", cored at 2 7/8", the back is a wee bit longer
• Basic White:  scrap to stamp/color/hand-cut Sassy!
• Highland Heather:  scrap to layer behind hand-cut ephemera tag

Folded the word print paper in half and put the paper clip over top of that.  

On both sides, add tape across the paper clip and LOTS of glue.  I added the lace trim to the bottom of the front side before I then wrapped the other piece of patterned paper around the whole thing.

See it clipped on to some papers.  Will work perfectly in a book, although it is a little lumpy with that mini bulb pin going sideways.  

Finished off with a tiny bit of pink ribbon, and some Blooms gems.
