Boutique Bloom Suite Projects - so pretty!

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.  I had a lovely trip to Walmart earlier to grab laundry detergent (I'm living the dream!), and then I came home and cleaned my craft table off while I talked to Sue Krusin' Through Ink on the phone (definitely the highlight of my day).

Today's post is all about the projects that I made on Thursday night, along with the FOURTH project that I did not have time to make on camera.  I am very happy with this suite.  The bundles, the COLORS, the papers, the Butterflies...and the boxes!

I think the last 10 minutes or so of my live video was showing you the accessories and things that I pre-ordered from the upcoming July Online Exclusives.  I didn't get any stamps yet, but got a bunch of cool doo-dads, embossing folders, and beautiful gingham papers!

Just a reminder that I am generally Live on-line every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.  I stream to BOTH YouTube and Facebook simultaneously, but I recommend viewing on YouTube.

If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube.  If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it.

First project is card, where I show you TWO different ways to EMBOSS with the April Product of the Month: Eyelet Blooms die.  I used the new Impressions Plate first, then I showed how you can also use the Silicon Mat.  I had to use some whiteboard shims in with the silicone mat, and it did end up cutting some of the pattern.... I think my viewers and I decided together that it might work with TWO silicone mats.  The silicon mat is much thinner than the Impressions plate, hence why we think two might work better.

The name "Impressions Plate" is kind of misleading.  It's not really a hard plate.  It's a soft silicone thing.  More of a "mat", versus a "plate", but that's what Stampin' Up is calling it.

I thought this Eyelet Blooms die coordinates so nicely with this Suite, and I really wanted to show you how to get some more use out of it.  I do love the embossed effect!
Paper Measurements:
  • Peaceful Pine:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Peaceful Pine:  4" x 5 1/4", embossed with Eyelet Blooms DIE
  • Basic White:  4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
  • Basic White:  scraps to stamp/die-cut/hand-cut flowers, leaves and greeting
Finish off with some of the tiny In Color Butterflies!

Stamps:  Boutique Blossoms Bundle, Scalloped Blooms Bundle
Ink:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Barely Blush, Peaceful Pine, Golden Glow
Paper:  Peaceful Pine, Basic White, Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper
Other:  2026-2028 In Color Butterflies

Second project is a Z-Fold Slimline card that I designed and made back in 2020!  I haven't made these in a while, but they are making the rounds in the stamping community.  I show you how to get your angles just right when you're cutting that Designer Series paper, and fun way to use the Forever Plaid embossing folder (hint:  at an angle!).

Paper Measurements:
  • Crisp Cantaloupe:  8 1/2" x 10 7/8", scored at 3 5/8" and 7 1/4"
  • Bloom Boutique DSP:  3 3/8" x 8 1/4"
  • Basic Whtie:  3 3/8" x 8 1/4"
  • Bloom Boutique DSP:  1 3/4" x 3 3/8"
  • Hydrangea Hue/Barely Blush/Crisp Cantaloupe/Peaceful Pine:  scraps to die-cut flowers
Open, laying flat so you can see all of the inside stamping.  Stamp just the flower outlines, tone-on-tone on the middle panel.  Then stamp them in different colors on the Basic White panel, and color in with the coordinating Shimmer Brush pens!

Card standing up.

I like the DSP going down the whole length of this middle panel, because you'll definitely be able to see it when the card is opened up.

Close-up so you can see how you can get a diagonal plaid out of the Forever Plaid embossing folder.  Just turn your paper at an angle.

Finish with some more of the Butterflies.

Stamps:  Boutique Blossoms Bundle
Ink:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Barely Blush, Peaceful Pine, Golden Glow
Paper:  Peaceful Pine, Basic White, Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper
Other:  Forever Plaid embossing folder, Sincerely Noted Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies, White Glittered Organdy ribbon, In Color Shimmer Brushes (Crisp Cantaloupe, Barely Blush, Hydrangea Hue, Peaceful Pine)

Third project is one of the Scalloped Window Boxes that comes in the Suite.  I showed how to line up the scallop dies on whatever paper you're using, so it lines up with the pre-cut/windowed scallop on the box.  I did have some mishaps, but you get the idea.  :)   The boxes are really easy to assemble, and sturdy enough.  I think they are made out of Thick cardstock.  They're definitely lighter than the cardboard pizza boxes that we've had in the past.

I ended up using a piece of dsp from the Garden Poetry pack.  Add some flowers and greenery.

Paper Measurements:
  • Garden Poetry DSP:  3 1/4" x 3 1/4", cut with Scalloped Blooms dies
  • Basic White:  scraps to stamp/die-cut flowers
  • Peaceful Pine:  scraps to die-cut leaves/greenery
Finish with some more of the In Color Butterflies.

Stamps:  Boutique Blossoms Bundle
Ink:  Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss
Paper:  Peaceful Pine, Basic White, Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper
Other:  Scalloped Window Boxes, In Color Butterflies

NOW for the fourth project that I did not have time to make live.  This is a pocket card.  The pocket is a 4" x 12" piece of DSP - so that I can maximize my DSP versus cutting it 4 1/4" x 12".  SO, 4" x 12" for the pocket.  Cut the side flaps at angles, and make a card insert.

The card insert sits taller than the pocket to make it easy to grab out, and still fit in a medium envelope.

Paper Measurements:
  • Garden Poetry DSP:  4" x 12", scored at 3 1/4", 8 3/4"
  • Berry Burst:  4" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White:  3 3/4" x 5"
  • Garden Poetry DSP:  1/2" x 5 1/4"
  • Blackberry Bliss:  scrap cut with Scalloped Blooms dies, about 3" scallop
  • Basic White:  scrap cut with Scalloped Blooms dies, about 2 1/4" scallop
Finish with some Charming Faceted Gems in Berry Burst.  They are retired, but perfect for this card.

Card pulled out of pocket.  You could also stamp all over the back side of this card and flip it so that is showing in the pocket, instead of the white side.  I'm just now thinking - would you want your hand-written message visible, or on the back side?

Stamps:  Boutique Blossoms, Reason to Celebrate
Ink:  Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss
Paper:  Peaceful Pine, Basic White, Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper
Other:  Scalloped Blooms dies, White Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Charming Faceted Gems

I hope you enjoyed what I created!

This coming Thursday, I'll be working with more In Colors In Depth!  Lots of interesting color combinations and projects.

Reminder that the June 2026 Product of the Month goes live this coming Tuesday, June 2nd.  This Wild Bunch stamp set is SURE to run out fast, so grab yours asap!
