OnStage 2026 - Make and Takes and a fun Mini Album project

Hello Crafty Friends!  I'm putting my GIVEAWAY picture up front and center for this blog post, because I don't want you to miss the opportunity to win it!  You can either click on the picture above, OR click HERE.  Both will take you to my blog post that has the rules/requirements for entering.  Entries close March 31, 2026, so you've got just over a week to put in for your chance to win this stamp set and glue holder that I received at OnStage20206!

Now let's talk about this past Thursday night.  This was a LONG video.  I shared news and announcements that I learned at OnStage, I showed all the amazing SWAPS that I got, I showed products that we received, I showed Make & Takes that we had (but I had not yet finished), and then we made a little Mini Album at the end.

This post is all about sharing the projects that I finished - Make and Takes and the cute Mini Album!  I hope you enjoy them.

Just a reminder that I am generally Live on-line every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.  I stream to BOTH YouTube and Facebook simultaneously, but I recommend viewing on YouTube.

If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube.  If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it.

First up is the Make & Takes from Friday's OnStage activities.  I've included the packaging so that you could see how they intended these two cards to go.   The only thing that I did WHILE I was OnStage was the coloring in of these panels.

Pink one up close.  You can see that I added a little bit of Pretty in Pink ribbon and some rhinestones.

I wanted to die-cut numbers (for a special birthday coming up), and the Bubble Bath Shimmer paper that I have was too light, so I took my Dark Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blend and colored directly on the shimmer paper before I die-cut those numbers out.

Highland Heather card up close.  I added some Metallic Gems, Brass Butterflies, and a ruffle of Gold Mesh ribbon.

Stamps:  Sending Salutations (NEW, coming in the May-Aug 2026 catalog)
Ink: Onyx (Versafine)
Paper:  Pretty in Pink, Highland Heather, Basic Black, Basic White, Artisan Sketched Garden DSP (also NEW, coming in the May-Aug 2026 catalog), Pastels Shimmer paper (Bubble Bath)
Other:  Playful Alphabet dies, Stampin' Blends (I can't remember which colors we used), Pretty in Pink ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Gold Mesh ribbon, Brass Butterflies, Metallic Gems

Saturday's Make & Takes were a set of Notecards with Envelopes.  The objective of these make and takes was for us to use some of the new 12" x 12" Stencils.  One stencil has this water pattern, and the other has little dots/stripes.  I didn't realize there were two card sets in this kit, so I only stenciled pieces for one.  SO...when I went to actually finish these yesterday, I split the stenciled pieces up and did some stamping to make up for it.  :)

I used the Shell Collecting stamps to stamp backgrounds, and then hand-cut a few pieces for one of the cards.

This one used the stenciled notecard, with two stamped strips.  Added a piece of the Ephemera pack that was included in our Make & Take kit too.

This one got a stamped background, along with the two stenciled strips which I RIPPED the edges.  I added the three hand-cut shells, along with another greeting from the ephemera kit.  I did go back and add Clear Shimmer brush to all of the hand-cut shells AFTER I took this picture.  Just imagine how shimmery and pretty they are.

I finished both cards with some Riverside Irregular Pearls.  White on the first, and Lost Lagoon on the second.

Stamps:  Shell Collecting
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon, Pool Party
Paper: Basic White Notecards with envelopes, Basic White
Other:  Sincerely Noted Mix & Match Ephemera pack (NEW, coming in May-Aug 2026 catalog), Riverside Irregular Pearls

This FUN Mini Album is 4" x 6" finished, and uses just one 12" x 12" piece of DSP to make the base.  Add whatever other cardstock or doo-dads you want to finish.  I'll do a walk-through of this finished project at the start of this Thursday's (3/26) video.  It turned out SUPER CUTE!

I ended up printing some tiny pictures on my Sprocket printer.  I love that thing for fun projects like this!

NOTE:  This paper is retired.  I just pulled it out to make my prototype, but then I liked it so much I made it my finished piece.

This is just the first inside page that has a pocket on the right side.
Paper Measurements:
  • 12" x 12" DSP (perferably non-directional on both sides):
    • score at 4" and 8", turn once
    • score at 6"
    • make CUT marks according to the video

and...I just realized that I drew the GLUE marks wrong.  REALLY best to watch the video to see what I did.

Stamps: Stripes & Dots, Reason to Celebrate, Month by Month and Month by Month Alphabet (Virtual Album Retreat 2025), Fabulous Sayings, Sending Salutations, More than Autumn
Ink:  Blueberry Bushel, Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo
Paper: Crushed Curry, Blueberry Bushel, Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo, Basic White, some 12" x 12" dsp (retired)
Other:  Mini Alphabet dies, Star punches (medium and small), Basic Rhinestones,

Again, I will flip through the whole book on Thursday night.  Including the cover, I think I got 15 pictures in this little book.  Granted - some are minis, but they still count!

Join me THIS Thursday, 3/26/2026 for a different fun mini album using FOUR 6" x 12" pieces of DSP.  This will be a perfect project for using up some of your paper share sets!

Thanks for visiting, and Happy stamping!
