Easter and Spring Projects!

Hello Crafty Friends!  I had fun creating some Easter and Spring projects with you on Thursday night.  I've got a few cards and an Easter Basket Treat box to share.  Fun stuff using a few different stamps and dies.  Easter is April 5th this year, so get cracking on your Easter projects if you haven't already.  :)

Just a reminder that I am generally Live on-line every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.  I stream to BOTH YouTube and Facebook simultaneously, but I recommend viewing on YouTube.

If you are not able to catch me live, you can watch over on YouTube.  If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it.

First up is a 4" x 6" size card.  I ended up with this size because I wanted to use these bunny heads from the Seasonal Celebrations stamp set.  I measured the bunny heads, and went from there.  I've got four panels of different DSPs.  Bunnies are popped up, and have Clear Shimmer on their ears.  So cute!  I love this "warhol design", where you stamp the same image multiple times in different colors.

Stamp and hand-cut all the bunnies.

Don't worry about mailing this size card!  You can pop this in a 5" x 7" envelope, or make a custom-sized envelope!

I stamped the greeting on the inside of the card, because I didn't want to mess up the front!

Paper Measurements:
  • Shy Shamrock:  6" x 8", scored at 4"
  • Basic White:  (2) 3 3/4" x 5 3/4", one for inside of card, one to glue dsp panels on to
  • Easter Joy DSP:  (2) 1 7/8" x 2 7/8"
  • In Color DSP:  (2) 1 7/8" x 2 7/8"
  • Basic White:  scraps to stamp/hand-cut bunnies
Finish off with some Party Dots in Pretty in Pink and Peach Pie.

Stamps:  Seasonal Celebrations, Reason to Celebrate
Ink: Lemon Lolly, Shy Shamrock, Balmy Blue, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Onyx (Versafine)
Paper:  Shy Shamrock, Basic White, Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series paper, 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper
Other:  Party Dots, Clear Shimmer brush

Next I created this adorable Easter Basket Treat Box.  Build the box first, then glue the basket die-cuts on each side.  The hardest part about this was weaving the little colored strips into the basket pieces.  I added a die-cut bunny, some hand-cut eggs and a small bit of Lemon Lolly ribbon.

Side view of the treat box.  So cute!!!

Paper Measurements:
  • Basic Beige (box):  3 3/4" x 4 1/2", scored at 1 1/4" on all four sides.  Watch video for assembly
  • Basic Beige:  large-ish scraps to die-cut (2) baskets
  • Pretty in Pink/Peach Pie/Lemon Lolly/Shy Shamrock:  scraps to die-cut weaving strips
  • Crumb Cake/Pretty in Pink/Balmy Blue:  scraps to stamp and die-cut or hand-cut bunny and eggs
I used some of the easter eggs from the February 2026 Paper Pumpkin kit too!  Those eggs are larger than the one in the Easter Basket stamp set.

Stamps:  Easter Basket Bundle, Celebrate Spring (February 2026 Paper Pumpkin)
Ink:  Early Espresso
Paper: Basic Beige, Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly, Shy Shamrock, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie
Other:  Lemon Lolly ribbon,

Another Spiral Card!  This time it's full of shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day!  I enjoyed the spiral cards from the previous week so much, I had to make another one.   I stamped and hand-cut (7) shamrocks in Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Shy Shamrock.

I actually used the Summer Splash Shimmer Gems, because that's all I really have left - but they match close enough to the greens.

Paper Measurements:
  • Shy Shamrock:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • 2024-2026 In Color (Shy Shamrock) DSP:  4" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White:  (2) 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
  • 2024-2026 In Color (Shy Shamrock) DSP:  (2) 2" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
  • Basic White:  enough to stamp/hand-cut all the shamrocks
  • Basic White/Shy Shamrock:  scraps to stamp and layer greeting
  • Transparency/Acetate:  3" x 3"
Inside of the card shows the spiral and shamrocks!

Stamps:  Seasonal Celebrations, Reason to Celebrate
Ink:  Shy Shamrock, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Timid Tiger
Paper: Shy Shamrock, Basic White, 2024-2026 In Color DSP
Other:  2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems, transparency sheets

I ended with a pretty simple card.  Basic White base and layer, with a light background, and some die-cuts.  I only added a little bit of color to this bunny, but I think I ran the Clear Shimmer pen ALL OVER him.  Add a tiny piece of grass and some Pretty in Pink dots.

Paper Measurements:
  • Basic White Thick:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Basic White Thick:   4" x 5 1/4"
  • Shy Shamrock/Basic White:  scraps to stamp/die-cut bunny, grass and hand-cut the greeting
I stamped the Lasting Linen background stamp OFF once to get a lighter version of the Crumb Cake ink.

Stamps:  Easter Basket Bundle, Lasting Linen Background
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, Onyx (Versafine)
Paper: Basic White Thick & Regular, Shy Shamrock
Other:  Party Dots (Pretty in Pink), Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends markers
