Hi Crafty Friends! We had a cozy group on Zoom during our Superbowl Stampin' 2026 event tonight! It's always so much fun to hang out with crafters, and tonight was a great time! These are the cards that I made using the Challenges that I posted beforehand. I like to have some thing to inspire your creativity every quarter of the game.
The 1st Quarter Challenge was "Foot". Anything with a foot, paw, leg (connected to a foot or a table leg), shoe, anything to do with a foot. Could have even been something with 12 inches....makes a foot. Open to loose interpretation! Pretty simple card.
My feet are the bird's feet. Stamped the bird, and colored in with Stampin' Blends markers. I decided the ink-blend some Crumb Cake around that piece, because it was too stark white.
Paper Measurements:
- Mossy Meadow: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Crumb Cake: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Timeless Plaid DSP: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside
- Basic White: 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
- Mossy Meadow: 2 5/8" x2 5/8"
- Crumb Cake: 1" x 3"ish
Add some Antique Pearls to finish.
Stamps: Bird's the Word (Unity Stamp Co)
Ink: Midnight (Catherine Pooler), Early Espresso
Paper: Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Timeless Plaid Designer Series paper
Other: Stampin' Blends markers, Antique Pearls
The 2nd Quarter Challenge was Patrios Colors: Red, White, Blue, and Silver. I figure a snowman always looks good with bright colors. I also used a fun technique on the scarf - Paper Piecing. Stamp the same image on to patterned paper and cut it out. Run a Black marker around all the edges, and glue it down on top of the scarf.
Embossed some snowflakes in silver, and also added some rhinestones.
Paper Measurements:
- Azure Afternoon: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside
- Real Red: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Basic White: 3 13/16" x 5 1/16"
- Real Red Designer Series Paper: scrap to stamp and paper piece the scarf
Added some old school Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the hat trim and pompom!
Stamps: Endless Wishes, Across the Miles (Unity Stamp Co)
Ink: Midnight (Catherine Pooler), Versamark
Paper: Azure Afternoon, Real Red, Basic White, Brights Designer Series Paper (Real Red)
Other: Stampin' Blends (Azure Afternoon, Real Red), Sterling Sparkle embossing power (Brutus Monroe), Basic Rhinestones, Dazzling Diamonds glitter
The 3rd Quarter Challenge was Seahawks Colors: Green, Blue, and Silver. I pulled this paper that has blue and green in them, and added rhinestones for my silver. Add a little bit of Secret Sea Faux Linen ribbon (stapled on, cuz I like staples), and some small flower punches.
The greeting and flowers are all popped up with Dimensionals.
I really love this Reason to Celebrate greeting stamp set - you can mix and match the words in different colors.
Paper Measurements:
- Secret Sea: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside
