Thanks for hoping along with the Friends of Unity this month! Our theme for February 2026 is Sassy! I think it's pretty open to interpretation. I happen to think this Sunshine Girl (Angie Girl) is SASSY! I felt like the greeting in this kit is appropriate for our current environment. We all need to SHINE!
I paired it with a piece of the Rainbow Alcohol Ink paper, which I embossed with a Sunflower folder.
I hand-ripped around my Sunshine Girl, after I colored her in. Add some black twine behind her, and pop her up.
Paper Measurements:
- Basic Black: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Rainbow Alcohol Ink papers (Yellow): 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
- Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Stamped both the girl and greeting on this piece.
Hopefully all of the shimmery goodness that I put on the sunflowers and in her hair show up in this picture. It's always hard to get a good picture of shimmer. I love those little butterflies too!
Here's a list of everything I used:
Stamps: Sunshine Girl (Unity Stamp Co)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Midnight (Catherine Pooler), Darling Duckling
Paper: Basic Black, Basic White, Rainbow Alcohol Ink papers (Unity Stamp Co)
Other: Sunflower embossing folder, Black Baker's Twine, Brass Butterflies, various markers (alcohol), Clear Shimmer brush
