It's getting to be that time....several of my friends have recently retired, so the cards must be made. :) I just got this Sunrise Sailing bundle last week, mostly because of the greetings! How lame is that? I like the sailboats, but I REALLY like the "happy retirement" and "congratulations".
This card came together very easily. Die-cut a few clouds, stamp and die-cut the sailboat. Rip some paper and stamp the water. Pop up the sailboat.
I wanted this piece of Boho Vibes DSP, because it makes me think of a sunset.
Paper Measurements:
- Secret Sea: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
- Boho Vibes DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cloud Cover: 2" x 4", ripped top edge
- Basic White: scrap to stamp sailboat and greeting
I stamped the sailboat in Basic Gray, and then carefully colored in the sales with Cloud Cover and Darling Duckling markers. NOT Blends...regular markers.
Finish off with some In Color Flat Pearls in Secret Sea.
