Today I'm sharing the 12" x 12" two-page layout that I made on Thursday night. This was the final part of my series using products mainly from the Marbled Elegance Suite. This is an Online Exclusive item, meaning it's not in any printed catalog.

In the video, I shared how I like to use sketches or layout designs. I have sketches from various companies (Club Scrap and Creative Memories), but you can search the internet for scrapbook page sketch or layouts. You will get TONS of ideas! For this layout, I had a deck of sketch cards from Club Scrap. I explained how the sketch is just a guideline.
For this layout, the sketch had circles - which represent ANY shape you want. I used hearts, since this layout is for Valentine's. I'm not going to give measurements for anything, because I was really just eye-balling things. I started out with two pieces of Real Red 12" x 12" Two-Tone cardstock, with the darker side facing up.
I did add the strips of Marbled Elegance Designer series paper FIRST, then went from there. I already had several hearts die-cut and embossed. I had to punch a few more as I went along. I didn't pop anything up because I'm really not a fan of 3D things on pages like this that I will slide into page protectors in an album. I'm weird about some things.
I added the letters just now - and I may go back and die-cut the skinny letters out of Cherry Cobbler. I cut them out of Poppy Parade first, and then hit them with the Clear Wink of Stella. It doesn't show well in this picture AT ALL, but in real life, the words do stand out. We'll see...I may leave it.

I hope you like these pages and consider using a sketch to make a layout of your own. They're a good starting point if you're kind of stuck on ideas.
I will NOT be live this coming Thursday. I'll be back on February 6th with a Double Decker Folio that I've designed and it's REALLY COOL! I'll be using the Storybook Moments papers.
