Welcome back friends!
Just a reminder that I go Live on my Facebook Page every Thursday at 8:00pm ET.
If you were not able to catch me live, you can still watch it on YouTube! If the picture does not appear below, you can click HERE to get to it on YouTube.
Let's start with the Fresh Freesia card. This is a 5" x 7" card, with a lot of tone-on-tone going on. I've got the embossed Fresh Freesia layered onto another piece of Fresh Freesia, which is then mounted on the Fresh Freesia card base. I love it!
Paper measurements:
- Fresh Freesia: 7" x 10", scored in half at 5".
- Basic White: 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" (for inside of card)
- Fresh Freesia: 4 3/8" x 6 3/8"
- Fresh Freesia: 4" x 6", embossed with Bloom folder
- Basic White: scrap to die cut flowers
Tie some Soft Succulent ribbon around the entire embossed/layered Fresh Freeisa pieces.
I added color to the white embossed flowers with some Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends markers, and then ink blended some Fresh Freesia on them. Just a little. Glue dot some leaves behind the flowers, and pop them up.
For the greeting, I stamped the whole long saying out "thanks for making me so happy", but then I hand-cut just the thanks off.
Here's a close-up:
Stamps: Art in Bloom bundle (stamps, dies, embossing folder)
Ink: Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent
Paper: Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent, Basic White
Other: Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave ribbon, Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. 2021-2023 In Color Jewels
Next, I had some scraps of In Color designer series papers in my stash that caught my eye so I decided to use them! This card uses several scraps of different papers, and a Stitched Rectangle of Basic White that I then ran through with the Stitched Greenery die...I really like that die! You just see a little bit of that pattern behind the flowers, and other papers, but it's just enough!
Paper measurements:
- Magenta Madness: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4".
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
- Basic Black: 4 1/16" x 5 5/16"
- Basic White: 3 15/16" x 5 3/16"
- Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece should do it - to stamp and die cut flowers, and banner for greeting
- In Color and Beautifully Penned designer series papers: scraps
I really like the contrast of the Magenta Madness and the Black on this card. I think that pink really pops!
I added a few of the In Color Square Gems - turn them so they are diamond shaped.
Ink: Magenta Madness, Onxy (Versafine)
Paper: Magenta Madness, Basic Black, Basic White, 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series papers, Beautifully Penned designer series paper (This is a Sale-a-Bration FREE with $50 purchase item!)
Other: Stitched Greenery die, Stitched Rectangles dies, 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems
Last card is another tone-on-tone in Soft Seafoam. I've added some Scalloped Lace Trim, and Pearls to give it a more frilly feel.
Notice I stamped the bottom edge with the wide stripes from the stamp set. That will be great for making backgrounds!
I also stamped and gold embossed the flowers, and then ink blended a little bit of Petal Pink on them.
That ticket die is going to be very useful - especially for journal and notebook projects!
Paper measurements:
- Soft Seafoam: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4".
- Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4" (for inside of card)
- Soft Seafoam: 3 3/4" x 5 1/2", embossed with Bloom folder
- Very Vanilla: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", to die cut flowers and ticket
Ink: Soft Seafoam, Versamark
Paper: Soft Seafoam, Very Vanilla
Other: Vanilla Scalloped Lace trim, Basic Pearls, Metallic embossing powder pack (gold)
I hope you enjoyed these project ideas for the Art in Bloom bundle!
