Thanksgiving Treats

Even though we aren't getting together in person for Thanksgiving this year, I still had to make some Thanksgiving treats to give to my family.  Apple Pie Kit Kats...I had just enough left to make these for today.

I wrapped the Kit Kats with a 3 1/2' x 6" piece of patterned paper.  This particular pack is called Falling Leaves, from Unity Stamp Co.  Wrapped it with a piece of Chocolate Chip grosgrain, and then made the fun part.

The base is a 2 3/8" Scallop of Pumpkin Pie, followed by a 2" circle of Early Espresso, and a 1 3/4" circle of Daffodil Delight.  Emboss the Daffodil Delight with the Coastal Weave folder and glue all those pieces together.

Stamp and hand-cut some acorns and the greeting, from the Banner Year set and attach all of those with glue dots.  I'm still using up these wood leaves that I found at Hobby Lobby or Walmart - it's called scatter - I think you're supposed to dump it all over your table for decoration.  They're a good size for cards and other projects though!  It was a few bucks for a bag full.  Glue those on.

I wanted to add some bling - something shiny or sparkly.  I looked through my embellishments and found some of the Enamel Shapes.  They were clear, so I colored the hearts with an orange Sharpie.

This one shows a brown wood leaf. I glued those leaves right on top with liquid glue.

I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving today!
