I just finished some swaps using a new stamp set from the Occasions catalog, Incredible Like You, the new Stitched Rectangle dies, and some Gingham papers. I did some in Daffodil Delight, and some in Balmy Blue.
Both have the same design, just a few differences - Leaf punch versus Sprig punch, Daffodil Delight ribbon vs. Flax ribbon. Everything else is the same. I stamped and hand-cut the flowers for all, and glittered them. They both have a 2 1/2" circle embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.
The Daffodil Delight cards used Old Olive.
I paired Balmy Blue with Pear Pizzazz for the other cards.
You may notice that the Gingham Gala papers hang off the sides a teeny bit. I did that on purpose! I just thought it would be a little bit more interesting to go over the edges.
Can you see these cards in another color combination, with a different designer paper from your stash?
