Painted Harvest Hedgehog
There have been a LOT of cards made using the Painted Harvest stamp set to make a cute hedgehog out of the 2-step flower stamps. I had the chance to try it out in Minnesota, and I love him!
I used a post it note to mask off the bottom of the card, so he's got a flat bottom. For his base color, I stamped off Chocolate Chip, so it's a lighter shade. Then added the 2-step top image in full-strength Chocolate Chip. His face (inside of the flower) is stamped in Crumb Cake. I had to hand-draw his eyes and nose.
I added a row of leaves at the bottom in Always Artichoke.
I used quite a bit of Tombow liquid glue to attach the Jute Twine to frame the front of the card. Lot of glue and lot of time to dry - overnight. At least it dried clear. :)
