There are so many ideas floating around for dolling up the Acetate Gift Boxes in the Holiday Mini catalog. I finally decided to give it a try with an embossing folder. It works!
Now, here's the deets...it only works with the "regular size" embossing folders. The ones that are 4 1/2" x 6 3/16". The 6x6 folders are too big these these boxes.
This picture is a better picture. I slid a piece of cardstock in the box, and used a glue dot in each corner to hold it in place. I tried to put the glue dots inside one of the embossed dots, to hide it a little. You can still see them, but I'm not going to cry over it.
Closer view for some details. I stamped and cut some balloons. Added a doily, and a 2 1/2" circle of Whisper White. Cut out the Happy Birthday from some Glimmer paper. I tied the ribbon around the box, so that's all decorative. You can still get into the box from the top or bottom flap.
Embossing the Acetate box turned out pretty cool!
