The greeting is on the INSIDE of the card. I punched through the front of the card base first, then attached the embossed Crumb Cake layer, and lined up the punch and punched again. You don't want to punch through 2 layers of card stock. Ever. Unless you want to wreck your punch. :)
The saying stamp fits right inside the punched out circle, so you can line it up nicely. Of course mine ended up a little bit crooked anyway...that's just how it goes for me sometimes.
