Lovely as a Tree, sympathy card

This is a 4" x 8" tri-panel card.  I wanted to have a lot of room for many people to sign it.  One of our pool players died last week, and we miss him terribly already.

This shows when you flip the top of the card open, and below is a picture of it all opened up.

For the base card, I started out with a 12" x 12" piece of Smoky Slate cardstock.  Cut it down to 8" x 12".  Turn it so you're scoring along the 12" side - at 4", and 8".  This will give you 3 panels, 4" x 8".

I did some stamping off with Smoky Slate ink with the row of trees, and added some single trees to the panels that were for signing.  I thought it came together pretty nicely.  I'll have to make an envelope to fit, but it's a good thing that I have my trusty Envelope Punch Board!
