Bloggers Challenge - Fall Leaves

It's been a long time since I've played in the Bloggers Challenge, so I'm very happy that I can join this week!  This is a Thankful For scrapbook/journal that I made using the Thankful Tablescape kit from the Stampin' Up Holiday catalog.

The front and back covers were made using the white cardboard that comes in the packs of designer series papers.  Cover both sides with cardstock, and then add some more layers and leaves to the front.

I die cut the leaves using the Autumn Accents die, and then ran each leave through with different embossing folders for some interest.  I also used some Coredinations cardstock, and sanded it after I used the Woodgrain embossing folder.

 

Inside of both the front and back covers is Sahara Sand, stamped with the leaf from the "Best of Autumn" stamp set.  

 10 pages inside are pocket pages, with an insert for journaling.  My plan is to attach pictures to the bottom of the pocket, directly on top of that Tangerine Tango houndstooth designer paper piece.  I'll also use the White Chalk marker to write on the chalkboard banner at the top of the journaling sheet, for each page.

Finished off with some ribbons tied on the binding coils.  I really enjoyed this project, and can't wait to take some pictures at Thanksgiving to fill it up!
