Spooky Halloween banner!

Check out this SPOOKY Halloween banner that my friend Rachel made!  Hand-cut the triangles from the new Martha Stewart Halloween pack.  I die cut the letters for her.

She also used some matching cupcake papers (from Martha as well) to mount the layered/letters on for each pennant.

A cool star punch allowed her to string some nice ribbon through the whole thing.  She did a great job!

Here's a close-up of one of the pennants.

She inspired me to make one last weekend too.   As soon as I clean the dust and Christmas stuff off of my mantle, I'll hang it up and take pictures.  :)

Another Scrapbook in a Box - Halloween

I went for a Halloween theme for my Scrapbook in a Box, because it's right around the corner, and I'm bound to get some pictures to put in it soon!

Interesting thing that I noted when I was stamping this top piece - I didn't realize all of the little images in the skull!  I put some gems on that little bitty pumpkin in the bottom right corner, just so people would realize that little guy is there.  So cute!  There's also a tiny little ghost in the upper right corner.  I've had that stamp set for over a year now, and never looked at it that closely.

Stamps:  From the Crypt

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Old Olive, Whisper White, Wicked Fun Designer series papers

Ink:  Black

Other:  Rhinestone Accent gems, Stampin' Dimensionals

Tropical Scrapbook in a Box

I showed my friend Lori how to make a "Scrapbook in a Box" last night.  We both made very different boxes, they both turned out great, and we had a blast!

Lori went with a Tropical/Summer theme.

No stamping - just beautiful cardstocks and designer papers.

Photos show the top, with some gorgeous gems she had.  Then a side view, and then opened up so you can see all of the pages.

Pendant Park

My friend Lori and I were playing with her mom's set - Pendant Park - Thanks Viv!  Lori made the card on the left, and I did the one on the right.  Both very different colors and effects.  I love her blue tree with glitter, and the stamped "ribbon" look up the left side.  I'm in a Fall mood, so I went with Pumpkin and Choc Chip.

Stamps:  Pendant Park

Cardstock:  Bashful Blue, Travel dsps (from summer mini), Soft Suede, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip

Ink:  Bashful Blue, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip

Other:  Embossing Buddy, 2-way glue pen, Dazzing Diamonds glitter

Wicked Fun candy wrappers

I made these candy wrapper favors for my class last week too.  I had Starbursts candies handy, so that's what I put inside of them.

Stamps:  Wicked Cool

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Wicked Fun designer series papers

Other:  Large/Scallop Oval punches, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Big Shot, Candy Wrapper die, bone folder

Halloween Candle

I knew when I saw these candles in Michael's, that they'd be perfect with Batty for You!  And luckily, they match the Cajun Craze cardstock perfectly too.  Just tape a strip of designer papers around the candle base to cover up the words that came on it.

Stamps:  Batty for You

Cardstock:  Cajun Craze, Basic Black, Whisper White, Wicked Fun designer series papers.

Ink:  Cajun Craze

Other:  1 3/8"/Scallop/2 3/8" Scallop punches, Sticky Strip, can candles

Frankie goes to Hollywood!

...or at least he goes trick or treating!  I got this idea from the cover of a recent scrapbook magazine, and we made it at my Halloween camp last week.

This is just a basic 4x4x4 box.  I used textured cardstock, because I like it better for boxes.

Make his hair out of the Black waffle paper!

No stamping on this project - just cutting and punching.

Punches:  1", 3/4", and 1/2" circle punches.

Other:  Basic Black Waffle paper, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky Strip

Sponge his eyelids and nose, and pop up with Dimensionals.
