Came across this great idea on Amy Water's blog. It's a bird house, created by the famous Nichole Heady! The pattern is available on Nichole's web site here. Just print the pattern right onto your colored cardstock, add the roof (dimensions for roof are included on the pattern itself), and decorate to your heart's content!
The bird house was one we made at my Spring Stamp Camp this weekend.
Stamps: Cheep Talk
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Creamy Caramel, Whisper White
Ink: Ruby Red, Crushed Curry
Other: 1 1/4" circle punch, Sticky Strip, Old Olive/Close to Cocoa markers
The dog house is actually my first attempt with this pattern. It really does come together quite easily. Give it a whirl!
Stamps: D is for Dog
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red
Other: Stampin' Dimensionals
I did use the Direct-to-Paper technique on the house itself before I assembled it, but you can't hardly tell in this picture.
Absolutely adorable!!! Love the dog house :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, thanks for the link to the template. I got it downloaded now to get it printed on card stock.
