This week's challenge was a product focus - use designer/patterned papers. I had this old can/lid laying around...waiting for something to inspire me, and I thought of this as a Halloween candy holder.
The jar was just a wee bit too wide around for the 12" paper, so I had to patch it on the back side with like 1" of the same paper sort of like matching up wallpaper. You can't tell, so I guess it's just in the pattern. Anyhoo - attach paper to the can with Sticky Strip so it doesn't come off later. Also used Sticky Strip for my skull piece on the lid.
Stamps: From the Crypt, Extreme Elements
Cardstock: Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White, Cast-a-Spell designer papers
Ink: Old Olive, Basic Black
Other: Sticky Strip, circle cutting system, sponge dauber, Old Olive wide grosgrain ribbon, old can/lid
Very Cute! I've been saving coffee cans for whatever reason and should do something like this!
