This week's challenge was to use a color combination - chocolate/brown, Sage, and any neutral. Chocolate Chip is my FAVORITE color, so I really liked this challenge. I made two cards, and couldn't decide which one, so I'm posting both of them.
Stamps: Dreams du Jour
Cardstock: Sage Shadow, Kraft, Chocolate Chipo
Ink: Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip
Other: White gel pen, Sage Shadow marker, Crafter's tool kit (for paper piercing), Stampin' dimensionals
I colored the flowers, leaves, and some on the butterflies with the white gel pen. When it dried, I went back over some parts with the Sage Shadow marker.
Stamps: Wanted, Happy Birthday (single stamp)
Cardstock: Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, Kraft
Ink: Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip
These are gorgeous! Great job with the challenge!

Both cards are great, but I'm drawn to the one using Dreams Du Jour. This is a really nice color combo!
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE your first card! Just stunning! (But them I'm more of a flowers and butterfly gal.) The horse card is fabulous as well, although a bit out of my comfort zone. I think mine has only seen ink one time....you've inspired me to try again!

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful with those colors! Great job.
ReplyDeleteBoth the cards are really nice. I love Western themed cards and I really like how on your first card the "white" just pops out at you. Great job on both cards.
