This week's challenge was a color combo - Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, and white/vanilla. I used the "Faux Diamond Dust" technique here. I smashed Versamark ink all over a 1/4 sheet of Baja Breeze cardstock - cover the entire thing - then douse liberally with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. Heat it up, and watch the magic! It looks just like that Diamond Dust glittery paper that scrapbook stores carry. It's VERY sparkly.
Then I ran that piece through the Cuttlebug with my brand new Snowflake #2 die from Stampin Up, and the results is this gorgeous snowflake. These could even be made into ornaments!
Stamps: seaon's greetings (Hero Arts)
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Ski Slope designer series papers
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versamark
Other: Snowflake #2 die, heat tool, Iridescent Ice embossing powder
I just found your blog and you have some awesome samples!!
