Friends of Unity January 2026 Blog Hop: CASE'd

Happy New Year, and welcome to the January2026 Blog Hop, brought to you by the Friends of Unity Blog hoppers!   We are kicking off the year with a challenge to CASE something!  Most of the time, CASE means Copy And Share Everything.  It means to take someone else's project and copy it the best you can.  I decided to CASE myself!  Specifically, the turtle card on this post, from earlier this year.  I used Unity Stamp Co's "Turtley" stamp set for that one.

This time, I went with a Valentine theme, but the same card design.  I don't have the wonky circle dies anymore, so I used something else.  I liked the "Big Candy Heart" stamp paired with Unity's Vintage Amour papers.  They both seem vintage-y to me.

 

Paper Measurements:

• Cherry Cobbler:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Crumb Cake:  4" x 5 1/4", for inside of card
• Vintage Amour papers (dots print):  3" x 5 1/4"
• Vintage Amour papers (vintage print):  1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
• Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake:  scraps to cut circles with
• Poppy Parade:  scrap to stamp and hand-cut big candy heart
• Basic White:  scrap to stamp "you're sweet"

The big heart is popped up with Dimensionals.  Finished off with some Vintage Pearls.
