Friends of Unity June 2025 Blog Hop - Masculine!

Welcome to the June 2025 Blog Hop, brought to you by the Friends of Unity Blog hoppers!  This month's theme is Masculine - just in time for some great Father's Day projects, or creating and sharing some love with the guys in your life.

I have not used this Scout truck in a long time, and I thought it would be perfect with a ripped piece of the red plaid from the Holiday Intrigue paper pack.  I wanted a background of trees, so I brought in a third set.

I colored in the truck with alcohol markers, and ink blended the sky, dirt, and grass.  I just realized that I didn't even put any doo-dads on this card!  A missed opportunity, for sure.

The only thing that I popped up is the tiny little greeting.  Everything else is glued down flat.

You probably got here from Kari's post, and the next stop is Joyce's blog.  If you want to start at the beginning, go to Crystal's post!  I think there are only seven of us hopping this month, so please hop on through and check out everyone's projects.  This is an amazing group of stampers!

Thanks for hopping with us!  If you comment as Anonymous, please leave your name so we know who leaves some love.

Here's a list of everything I used:

Stamps: Scout Adventure, Northwoods Peace, Gotta Love Sentiments (all Unity Stamp Co)
Ink:  Midnight (Catherine Pooler), Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie, Balmy Blue
Paper:  Basic Black, Basic White, Holiday Intrigue (Unity Stamp Co)
Other:  Stampin' Blends markers (Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Pool Party)

I hope you enjoyed my project, and love the rest of the HOP!

Thanks for visiting, and Happy stamping!

  9. I like both the masculine and outdoorsy themes of your card. The colors are perfect and the patterned paper brings everything together nicely.
