Non-traditional Valentines

I must say that this was completely different in my head, when I started it.  I changed my mind about which stamps to use, then which accessories...but I like it!   We don't always have to use hearts for Valentine cards.  That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Cardstock:  Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment designer series papers

Ink:  Peach Parfait, Pool Party

Other:  Blossom/Word Window/Modern Lable punches, Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad pack, Large Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals, Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder

Elementary Essentials

I'm finally getting a chance to play with my SAB order!  I love these papers.  The colors aren't anything I would have put together myself, but they work wonderfully.

Gnome Love

I can't wait to use these little gnomes more in the coming months.  They are so dang cute!  Non-traditional Valentine colors here, because I'm using some of the Sale-a-Bration designer papers...they are really beautiful in real life.

Box of Christmas Cards

I made a box of 20 cards for my Book Club gift exchange.  10 of each of these designs.  Very simple, but pretty enough.

Stamps:  Warmest of Wishes, Sincere Salutations

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Very Vanilla, retired Christmas papers that I can't remember the name of...

Ink:  Old Olive

Other:  1 1/4" circle punch, 2 3/8" Scallop punch, Stampin' dimensionals, Very Vanilla 5/8" grosgrain ribbon

Here's the box.  And I did include envelopes with it, so they can be sent out immediately!

Coaster Calendar

I made 8 of these stand-up coaster calendars for my Book Club, and they loved them!  They're very easy to make - just cover coasters with papers.  I did Pear Pizzazz cardstock on the back side of the coasters.  And I generally don't buy coasters.  You can get square and circle shaped coasters at just about any bar for free.

NO STAMPING!

Cardstock:  Pear Pizzazz, Chocolate Chip, Greenhouse Gala designer series paper (retired)

Other:  Pewter Jumbo eyelets, crop-o-dile, Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, glue stick, coasters, calendars

Christmas Lodge

I think I case'd this from Jill Hilliard.  Love these lodge colors still!  The Dazzling Details gave a perfect 3-d effect to the scallop.  Do note that it take a little while for that stuff to dry.  It's like Stickles, if you've ever used that before.

Stamps:  Christmas Lodge

Cardstock:  Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White, Frostwood Lodge designer series papers

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler

Other:  Eyelet border punch, Scallops #2 die, Big Shot, Dazzling Details.

Dashing Dasher!

This is one of the make and takes we'll be doing tomorrow night at my Minnesota Open House - a chance to see all of the stamped goodness that I brought home from my long weekend in Minnesota.  I went out there a couple of weeks ago to stamp the entire weekend with some really great friends.  I miss them!  At least I get to see them once a year.  This was our 10 year anniversary of getting together.

Anyway...I was going for an elegant monotone scheme for this dashing Dasher card.  Hope you like it!

Stamps:  Dasher, Sincere Salutations

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Mocha Morning specialty designer series papers

Ink:  Soft Suede

Other:  Ticket corner punch

Christmas Lodge in plaid

I really like the lodge-y feel of the Frostwood Lodge papers.  Perfect for this Christmas Lodge.

Ink:  Cherry Cobble, Early Espresso

Other:  2-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter

Punched Sunflower

I think I case'd this from Mary Brown  Connie Babbert.  (Sorry Connie! You're both such great stampers, it's easy to get confused.)   I made my flower with just punched out petals from the Blossoms punch.  I didn't stamp on them.

Stamps:  Grateful Greetings

Cardstock:  More Mustard, Pool Party, Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz, Spice Cake designer series papers

Ink:  Chocolate Chip

Other:  Blossoms punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, mini glue dots, Big Shot, Square Lattice embossing folder, Stampin' Dimensionals

Lattice Window card

I left this card with no greeting, so that I can add whatever sentiment I need to later on...when I need to grab a card!

I love putting the Lattice die behind a cut out circle.  For this card, I punched a 2 1/2" circle out of the Very Vanilla cardstock first.  Then add a Lattie die piece onto the back of that.  Then add a piece of designer paper.  That gives you the window look.  Add some more dsp circles, and call it done!

Stamps:  NONE yet.  :)

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake designer series papers.

Other:  Big Shot, Lattice die, 2 1/2" circle punch, 1 3/8" and probably 1 1/4" circle punches.
