Roses are Red...Rose Red!

I'm still on this embossing color on color layer kick, along with the ruffled ribbon and a decorative rose.

For an added touch - emboss your envelope flap too!  I love the elegant look of it.

Happy Birthday Viv & Julie!

My friends, Viv and Julie, are both celebrating their birthday this Thursday.  Happy birthday girls!  This is your card!  Sorry, but you both get the same one this time.  :)

To make this ruffled ribbon, lay a strip of Sticky Strip down first.  Attach one end of your ribbon (I started at the top), and just pinch and stick it down as you go along to the bottom.

Four scallop envelopes taped together to make a small box.

Fore U Fancy Favor Box

I just got these medium size Sizzlet letters and LOVE THEM! 

No stamping in this though...EEEK!  You might not be able to see the divets in the golf ball, but they are there.  I used the Texturz Plates, but we decided at camp that the Dots embossing folder would produce a much more pronounced divet situation.  Free hand cut the golf tee.

Carrot Petal Cone treat holder

Two petal cones taped together to make this "carrot cone".  I broke my thumb two weeks ago, so it was very hard to cut out that little flower, but I did it!  Yeah!

Also, you can't really tell, but I direct-to-paper'd the tangerine cones with tangerine ink to give it the rough look of carrots.  There are Jumbo eyelets on the sides too.

Tulips brooch or pin

I need to glue a pin back to the back of this.  There is just a piece of Rose Red cardstock taped to the very back, to cover up the seam binding.

I used my 2-way glue pen to attach the stamped piece to the window pane.  The dots were not nearly as visible once it dried completely...I took the picture too early.

It's almost time for they Cherry Blossoms to bloom right down the road in D.C.!  This stamp reminds me of them so much. 

I really like this tone-on-tone look with embossing a layer and putting it on the same color card base.
