No stamping on this one, but I will add a greeting when I figure out who I'm going to send it to.

Inlaid Embossing Delightful Decorations
My friend Virginia made this gem at our weekend gathering. Stamp and punch out the decorations, attach to gold cardstock, then run the whole bit through the Big Shot with an embossing folder. Inlaid embossing! I love it!

Christmas Triangle Treat Boxes
Another collaboration. We both found similar ideas on splitcoast (I think?). Same idea for both, just different size cardstock used, so the triangles come out bigger or smaller.
Left is Sues. Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. Run the Cherry Cobbler through the Big Shot with the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder. Add a scalloped border at the bottom. Beautiful!
Mine is the Santa. Just lots of punches, and some googly eyes to make him a little crazy. :)

Penguin Gift Card holder
My friend Sue, and I, collaborated on this cute tag at our recent Great Minnesota Gathering a few weeks ago. On a trip out to Michael's, I picked up a felt gift card holder as a template. Then we created our version using stamps and punches. So cute!
Cardstock is 9" x 3 3/8". Score at 3 3/4" and fold up. I free hand cut the top to make it tag-shaped. You'll want to use Sticky Strip up the sides, so it really holds well.
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Simple Snowflake
Cardstock: Marina Mist, Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
Ink: Marina Mist
Other: Snowflake punch, Owl punch (cut the ears off to make it a penguin), Scallop die, Fire rhinestone circle brads, Sticky Strip, Marina Mist thin ribbon, 1/8" hole punch

Fabric Coaster for Me!
My friend Sue made me this wonderful coaster out of fabric and some Sizzix dies. Amazing! I love the colors she chose!
To get the die cuts onto the fabric, you first iron on the self-adhesive stuff to the fabric. Then run that through the Big Shot with your dies.
She just ran fabric (no adhesive) through for the front and back Scallop Square pieces.
Materials: Serif alphabet, Scallop Square, Fall Leaves #2, Big Shot, fabric, self-adhesive backing
I just love it...I don't know which side to turn up!

Simple fall elegance
Cased this from someone else too. I love the simplicity of it! No layers, and still a gorgeous card.

French Foliage
Great fall colors. I think I cased this from splitcoast, but I can't remember exactly. This was one of the cards that we made on my Minnesota stamping trip a couple of weeks ago. So much stamping, so much fun!

Bloggers Challenge - Give Thanks
I love these colors together - Peach and Cajun! It's not really a "Give Thanks" sentiment, but the fall leaves are close enough for me. :)

Happy Birthday Spider-Bat-Man!
Happy birthday to my little brother! I found this picture in the family photos and had a good laugh. Picture is Halloween 30 years ago. He was going to be Spiderman, but just HAD to wear his Batman cape from the year before. Too cute!
Stamps: Word Play
Cardstock: Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Pacific Point, Whisper White
Ink: Brilliant Blue
Other: Bat punch, Rhinestone accents, Stampin' Dimensionals, Spider Web embossing folder, Big Shot
I scanned in the original photo, and it printed out pretty decent on my printer.

Christmas Photo Gift Box
We had our first Stamp Club meeting today, and the girls wanted to do this box. We got the idea from the Idea Book & Catalog, but went with a sturdy, paper mache box instead of making one out of cardstock.
This is my box lid - everyone's was different, depending on which square of designer papers they had left. Some had the white poinsettias, some had the red ones, one used the bells - they all turned out beautifully!
We used a lot of different accessories, and everyone's was just a little bit different.
Stamps: Delightful Decorations
Cardstock: Crumb Cake textured, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Deck the Halls designer series papers
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke
Other: Ornament/Designer Label/Curly Label/5-petal flower/ 3/4"/ 1"/ 1/8"/ 1/16" punches, Very Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware, Cherry Cobbler & Always Artichoke seam binding, Glimmer Brads Basics, Antique brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, bone folder (to curl up the edges of the flowers to make poinsettias)....I think that's it. Oh yeah - and Sticky Strip. You need a strong tape to attach the cardstock to the box lid and bottom. Those paper mache boxes don't want to adhere to mono-adhesive very well.

Upsy Daisy with Daffodil...sounds weird, but...
This Daffodil Delight is such a pretty shade of yellow. I'm so glad we have ribbon to match too!
For this main image panel, I stamped the daisies onto the Crumb Cake first, then ran it through the Big Shot with the embossing folder.
Stamps: Upsy Daisy, Sincere Salutations
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Whisper White

Great Minnesota Gathering 2010!
I got back last night, from a long weekend in Minnesota. Stamping with my friends ALL WEEKEND LONG. It was seriously a lot of fun, and we made lots of good stuff...which I'll be posting in the coming weeks, as soon as I have time to get everything unpacked. :)
These are my friends that I've been stamping with since we hooked up at Convention 2001 in Las Vegas. This was our 9th Annual Gathering in Minnesota - hard to believe we've had this tradition for that long. They all live out there, so I fly out and they drive in to the city. I love getting to visit with them like this.
This is one of our famous "couch pictures". Nikki is the only one that can set everyone's camera on a timer, so she takes all the pictures and runs back to sit in front. Then we all try hard not to laugh too much.
Back row: Haley, Virginia, Me, Didi
Front row: Sue, Nikki
