Artistic Outpost - Hero

I'm really digging these Artistic Outpost stamps! Here, I made myself a little calender for my desk. Calendars are 2 1/4" x 3". I love this size to sit next to my computer!

Stamps: Hero (Artistic Outpost)
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Versamark

For the background piece on this card, I ran my Top Note Sizzix die through with cardboard (from a cracker box), and used the direct-to-paper technique with Chocolate Chip ink. It gives a really grainy look to it.

Stamps: Hero (Artistic Outpost)
Cardstock: Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip

White-ish Christmas Challenge

This was for a one-on-one challenge. The challenge was to make a White-ish Christmas card...could use White/Vanilla, and some other smidge of color. I chose to stick to just white and vanilla. It's kind of hard to see in the picture, but I embossed white on the vanilla cardstock. It shows up in person, but getting a good picture took more time than I was willing to put in right yet. :)

Stamps: Snow Swirled

Cardstock: Whisper White, Very Vanilla

Ink: Versamark

Other: White embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, Pretties Kit (1/2 pearl, flat back), Mini Glue Dots, Ticket corner punch, Vanilla and White grosgrain ribbons, Stampin' Dimensionals

Book Club project

Tonight was my Book Club Christmas Party, and we made a project for everyone. This year, we decorated this little wood frames that I found at AC Moore for dirt cheap! They're probably 4.5 or 5" square, and have the dowel that sticks in the back to stand them up. These are just the two that I made, but everyone's turned out beautiful and different. Some used Holiday Treasures DSPs, and some used these Brocade papers from last year.

Stamps: Baroque Motifs

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Brocade Designer series papers (retired)

Ink: River Rock, Old Olive

Other: Scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, Chocolate Chip grosgrain, Old Olive poly twill, Glue stick, Pretties Kit (1/2 pearls, flat back), Mini Glue Dots, Pop-Up Glue dots

I made these little bags for my book club, and then added a tag that they can then tie up with the ribbon and hang as an ornament too. I love this little snowman! Inside is a small box of truffles, peppermint sticks, and a holiday flavor chapstick.
